A decentralized identity system designed to verify that a person is a unique human through community-backed validation.
Proof of Humanity is a decentralized identity verification protocol that aims to ensure each identity on a blockchain corresponds to a real, unique human. Developed by Kleros and Democracy Earth, it combines video submissions, community curation, and incentive mechanisms to establish Sybil resistance without centralized control. Users must submit a video and be vouched for by an existing member. The system is used in UBI (Universal Basic Income) experiments and Web3 applications where human uniqueness is critical. PoH helps build reputation systems, governance fairness, and equitable airdrops.
